He has some serious credentials, 29 yrs with US Air, ex military, and runs his own Risk management group. I want to fly with him everytime. Wouldnt it be nice if we could pick our captain?
My understanding is that he is a Glider/Soaring pilot as well. Bet that helped.
He is also a graduate of my alma mater, Purdue University, with a degree in Industrial Psychology. Obviously a thinking man, of action.
By contrast, another famous pilot in the news last week was also a Purdue alum. The shyster who tried to fake his death by jumping out of his plane over Alabama. His "Heritage Wealth Management" had sponsored a big regatta at my sailing club, in the summer of 07. Ironic that he called his company Icon Investment Group (Get it? I-Con).
