Well.., it is almost always GOOD wind. Lots of times it is TOO MUCH GOOD WIND. Rarely do we have drifters here.
Funny, because I learned to sail on Lake Erie in Ohio and Michigan where light air was about 80%. If it blew over 15 the races were canceled.
Moved to Florida in the early 80s and had to relearn how to sail. Fun learning, however.
