Frankly, it IS an advantage. The N20 snuffer hoop is too small for the spinnaker size which makes setting and dousing extremely physical and slow. A properly designed snuffer can take a second or better of the set and when your boat moves at a hull length per second...that's a significant advantage around the cans. If I could have legally changed ours I would have done so a long time ago.



Now I get it.. they are making more money from the extra wear and tear on kites... that is really harsh, has anyone tried to change the rules through the class association?
