Obviously its an unfair advantage having an after market snuffer....
equally an after market tramp mat gives an unfair advantage... so the class rules say...
make you wonder what goes through their minds besides money...
Frankly, it
IS an advantage. The N20 snuffer hoop is too small for the spinnaker size which makes setting and dousing extremely physical and slow. A properly designed snuffer can take a second or better of the set and when your boat moves at a hull length per second...that's a significant advantage around the cans. If I could have legally changed ours I would have done so a long time ago.
