just a question, the hobie 16's come with kites now, but are they classed as an F16?
Hobies wont race with kites unless its the isaf youth championships, so i would like to know tho?

my understanding is that the Hobie 16 has way to much sail to be compliant and they have never applied to be grandfathered.
I am sure I heard somewhere they are not going to be used for Youth regattas any more either, so I think it is goodbye to H16 with Spin. It seems that Hobie OZ will be happy with that, they really didn't like to have the boat rigged with spinnaker from what I heard, they never seemed to be able to get them to perform.
