Hi Don, Here's a pic. of a Mystere with wings. as you can see it can be done rather easy. these are mounted on a bolt that runs through the cross bar.

The beam is taking the load,not the hull. From what I've seen the beams on the Hobie 20 are capable of supporting the wings. A friend mentioned to me that Hobie in Europe offered a kit to mount wings on a 20. You might want to look into that. Again this was told to me by someone else so if you find out something definite let us know.
