If you're on a budget, there's a ply boat "SPOT" on the SA website . I have the boat I think AJ built prior to that one. He builds strong light boats. I don't know the boat but if you can be bothered making the trip it would definitely be worth a look at the price. Ready to race and on a trailer for $2500.00. The only real issue I've had with mine was some softness in the working deck, which if you are handy enough to consider building a boat, would be no big deal to fix.
