Ok, man, the race starts on the 17 which is next wednesday. The online up to the minute coverage should be AWESOME this year. Some teams will have SPOTs and some wont. There are a couple teams that have one or more sailors fresh from the Tybee 500 and the racing should be pretty intense. Todd Hart is sailing with me this year and I'm pretty sure we'll have the distinction of being the heaviest. Chris Green will have different crew than he did in the Tybee (but still racing the fast Texas Flag boat) and Aaron McCauley (who crewed for Green) will be skippering a Nacra Infusion. Jared and Collin are bring Royal Orange to the fight (although on a white boat). Also, Corey Harding (my crew from the Tybee) will be racing on a Nacra Infusion as well. Last year was some of the fastest and roughest conditions the race has seen yet. Even some of the Worrell vets said it was one of the most brutal races they've done yet (only 5 out of 12 boats made it the whole way). Watch www.gt300.com and enjoy the drama as it unfolds (it allways does). It's still not too late to sign up.
