I could see where lines sticking to Velcro could be used to your advantage. How about if you put a short strip of the hook part of Velcro on the deck near your side stay. When you're out on trap solo you could set your jib line onto the Velcro and it would never slide away.

Same with the traveler...stick it to the deck by the rear beam...no drift. It would easily rip loose when you need it.

How about a big stripe of Velcro in mid-tramp to keep your main sheet from sliding off the boat. I must snap my main back across the tramp a hundred times a day. This could be an easy fix.
