the 79 h-16 i just bought creeks somthing feirce. would lubeing the post sockets with teflon, graphite or such help the matter?

Sailing regularly for 14 yr's, club raceing T-Ten for 8, but new to having and sailing a cat "79" H-16. Strongly want to excell at this with knowledge from people who know and love it.
