This line sits inside the daggerboard well when pushed all the way down, the line then runs underneath the tramp to the other side where there is a handle and a 2:1 purchase to pull it up.


It's 1:1 on all the a-cats I've seen including mine. As long as you spray a little PAM cooking spray on the boards (tip from Greg Goodall), they come up and down very easily.

It's a really nice feature that more cats should copy. When I come around the top mark, I grab that line with both hands and make two quick hard sawing motions left and right and both boards are raised perfectly and I'm right back on the helm.
