I had a very similar experience with a Ronstan watch about 3 years ago. No BS, no hassle and I got the replacement watch in record time. Their customer service is spot on. Great company to do business with. Just to be fair and give equal time for equal treatment. I had a similar experience with Harken on a damaged Main block that I got on a used boat. I found Harken customer service to be outstanding also.
