where can i find the numbers indicating the age/year of my h14.

#2 my gelcoat is badly cracked and worn, i applied a latex paint over it to protect it from weather while it sits while being restored, i was wondering if i removed this latex, would an aerosol appliance epoxy work well as a finish coat for a season or so? i prefer aerosols,but dont know wich to go with, most can paints run a bit on the soft side, so i was thinking about using appliance "epoxy" aerosol paint wich is made for refinishing dryers/washing machines with that hard powdercoated feel paint.

im on a low budget so $ is a major factor
also, the boat will be sailed 5-6 times max this season, in bay/beaching conditions.
