I sail a NACRA 5.5 uni, which is boomless. It has a clewboard traveler to control position of mainsheet blocks on the mainsail, functions a little like an outhaul. Since I sail solo, adjusting this traveler involves going to the back of the boat, which is slow.
Has anyone ever rigged up a release line for this kind of clewboard traveler? What about some kind of method to pull it in?
It's an adjustment that may not warrant extra rigging to adjust. I sail a N6.0 and usually set the clew traveler just forward of the mid-point for all points of sail except downwind, at which time I'll let it out. If the winds are up or I'm sailing lots of short legs, I just leave it at the midway setting and forget about it.
