Crisco is made from 100% vegetable oils:
INGREDIENTS:SOYBEAN OIL, FULLY HYDROGENATED COTTONSEED OIL, PARTIALLY HYDROGENATED COTTONSEED AND SOYBEAN OILS, MONO- AND DIGLYCERIDES, TBHQ AND CITRIC ACID (ANTIOXIDANTS).
Lousy for you, but great for greasing pumpkins.
It's also good for keeping the squirrels from climbing the bird feeder posts.
