While rigging, I noticed the rope on one of my trapeze hooks was wearing through. So I replaced it with a fresh bit of line. Unfortunately, I must not have rigged it correctly, I think I put the plastic figure 8 thingie on the same side as the trap ring. First time I jumped out on the wire, it held for about 1 second, then the knot holding the rope to the bungee pulled through the pulley, and I went swimming. I had both the stick & the mainsheet in my hand, but I did not let go of the stick soon enough.
