I find the quick repair after the dismasting a bit worrying though. If they have'nt found the cause of the dismasting there is always the possibility of it happening again.
But who knows if Alinghi isnt building a wing of their own, they kept the building of the cat a pretty good secret.
With 260 sensors laminated into everything (including the mast) and recording 26,000 datapoints a second (and 2 GB of data every day) I can't imagine that they don't have a really good idea about what happened.
