That was yet another memorable event. I can't recall in my feeble memory a three day stint that had 15+ kts the whole time. I can't imagine the immensity of the logistics to host this many boats and crack off such a smooth and fun event...

And now for the "Thank You's"

Warren, Rick, Barb, and the rest of the staff - an outstanding event which should virtually guarantee a bigger turnout next year. And for whomever arranged for the guest appearance of "MANKINI" on Saturday... those emotional scars will last a while.

Pete - thanks for toting my fat kiester around the cans Friday. Team "TONS O FUN" rules even on a 16. Next time, I will remember to release that teeny spin sheet when the bows are tossing oysters on the trampoline

Bailey - Thank you for being merciful to an old guy who really has no "Bid-naz" on a N20 in 20+ conditions. Tad's happy he got his boat back in one piece, and you can keep those blood stains I left.

Seth - Team 1/2 Ton did pretty well even as the wind backed down. I will try to remember that the F16 two-up really does sail better when I don't knock the driver off the back end.

Karl & Beth - all the best to you both. Too bad we didn't get Team Tons O fun back to the beach in time to see that. Couldn't have happened to a nicer group.

Ding - you sail pretty fast for someone on facebook.

Matt - the fact that Gina's still with you after three swims on Sunday is amazing. She needs to go on some sort of marriage counseling speaking tour.

Rick & Terri - great to see you back. Those matching drysuits sure were sharp...

To the entire F18 & N20 fleets - you guys are animals and should be put in a cage somewhere. Especially the punk boat and the NE Gangstas. That was some serious flying downhill on Saturday.

And special mention to Jake "Man Hands" Kohl who seemed to be effecting repairs on everyone's boat at the same time. I think that boy bleeds resin...
