My brother (the Scout Master) told me about a variation on the Bowline--the Dragon Bowline.
He tied a regular bowline, then threw the knot end on the ground and held on to the other end of the line as he walked away.
Turns out it was a draggin' bowline. You ever tried pushing a bowline? Dragon's the way to go.
