Are you kidding! Ouch! I've caught hail riding a motorcycle, with a helmet, armor, and leather it still hurts when it hits anywhere but your head.

I've never seen hail on a lake before, I suppose it floats. that'd be kinda cool to see though. Just not be out in the middle of it in a dinky little boat.

I think I would've pulled my life jacket off and used it as a hat/helmet.
