How high above the tiller crossbar is the bottom of your Calvert Sail, when sheeted hard?

I put my new Calvert sail (A new Load Path) on last night. It was touching the tiller cross bar when sheeted hard. Halfway through the race it had stretched a little or I was sheeting harder and was pressing hard against the tiller crossbar. By the end of the race, the rudders were really loading up and it was getting hard to tack. The sail shape looked better at the end of the race than at the beginning.

My current forestay is more than a inch longer than the previous one (both Hobie) so hole position doesn't match up. I am guessing from previous experience that the bottom of the sail should be about 2 inches above the tiller cross bar when sheeted hard.
