I like to add that the foam I used is socalled expanded polystyreen and not, repeat not the blue or green socalled extruded foam. The last type has a 100% closed cell structure which is unsuitable for boatconstruction. It sucks no resin when laminating, so the connection between laminate and foam is questionary. Great risk on delamination. (though there tricks to avoid this). Expanded foam is not 100% closed cell (little balls inflated and sticking together) and therefor sucks some resin when laminating (always give it a wetlayer of resin right before laminating).
