Marc,

I'm set up the same way with one exception: My tramp came with a notch at the rear beam where the bar slides in; it is located just off center but in line with the spinlock cleat on the front beam. I incorporated a small block at that , fastened with the line holding the tramp. So the continuous halyard/retrieval line exits the grommet at the rear of the snuffer bag, passes through the block, and then runs forward across the whole tramp to the spin lock. When sailing alone, it's handy having the line all the way back, but the tramp isn't as clean.

With your set up, does the line simply exit the snuffer grommet, pass through the tramp grommet and then back to the cleat with no block? The center grommet on my tramp is really so small that I can't see that working.
