I agree with Rolf,

There are quite a few different ways to rig the systems on the boat. The boom should just have the outhaul in it but could contain a few other things.

The only thing I can add is about the halyards. I have a 1990 Reg mast on my boat and just led all the halyards outside the mast and sealed it this spring so I've been through the debate of how to run the halyards. Depending on the age of the boat, there can be a few different ways the halyards go. Most of the early 90's and older boats seam to have internal halyards (halyards all run inside the mast). My jib halyard was a 2 to 1 system that cleated on a jam cleat where it exited the mast. My main halyard ran inside the mast can had a turning block at the base and exited there. It also had a sky hook at the top of the mast for a halyard lock. If you can provide alittle more information (age of boat, more detail on the current setup) perhaps we can offer some more advice. I'm by no means an expert but have talked to some people who do have an extensive background on the boat. Maybe they will chime in here as well to help you out.
