True. I think mine are the 2000 numbers. I didn't do a new run before responding. Though, they didn't change much. The Melges still has to give time to the Hobie.

<br>Any time we (cats) go against boats like the Melges the figures aren't going to mean a whole lot until after the corrected times are posted. That's what keeps Portsmouth and PHRF racing interesting!

<br>Also, the type of racing will make a big difference -- around the buoys will, I think, usually give the advantage to the monohull. On longer legged races, especially if you can get a good reach in, the cats can more than hold their own. And then in light air -- well, you know how that goes.
