The amount of bouyancy in the hollow mast gives a whole new meaning to sailing on the edge !! If the crew can invert the sail shape to act like a aircraft wing then the yacht will always right itself. It's just a matter of getting the platform to be facing into the wind.

Better still if a crew member is tied to the control line and falls off first and inverts the sailshape then the mast may not even touch the water.
