The conditions were a bit of everything. I'd say it was blowing 10 at the start with a slight 2' chop. It built, to the best of my estimate to just shy of 15 I'd wager. Then the storm rolled in. Depending on what side of the storm you were on, you'd either get swirling 0 or a big lefty that would let you (if your name was Frank) point straight at the mark.
The trip home was simply awesome. I can't remember a better time sailing than that leg home.
