Hi Damien,

I would agree with Steve's comments.

I am just over the 100kg mark, and my boat is an older timber one weighing about 60kg. When i purchased her about 9 years ago i ordered a new sail form goodall, due to at the time both state and national champs had Goodall's. When ordering the sail he asked me how much i weighed???? eek and after telling him how much i weight his comment was "we can cut some power into this one" grin

Now 9 years on and after some pretty "heavy" treatment, i am still extremely happy with the sail. Not by any means am i up the front of big fleets but the fun i am having now in the heavier conditions keeping them honest is great.

I think now that there are a lot of the newer hull shapes racing and my lack of ability is the major reason i am mid fleet at a nationals. OK mid to back..... smirk

But hay who really cares where you come as long as you are having fun on the water, it beats any day at work. smile
