Hi all,

big weekend of sailing at Boga, thanks to Garry J and all the crew at LBYC for making us feel welcome, nothing quite like country hospitality, loved all the FREE fruit.

Great roll up of boats 22 Cat rigs and 7 sloops, when you think of some of the boats missing, the Mossie class is certainly healthy in Vic, but we need to keep working on it as many are, by being open and friendly, offering advice and help when needed to other sailors.

As expected winds where light most of the weekend, first heat was windiest (trapeze strength mostly) and it just tapered off from then. Apart from the boat in the front of the cat rig fleet that cleared out most races, everybody else found it close racing, to close on many occasions cry . Well done to Shannon Wilson who looks like he is becoming a light wind specialist in the Mk1's and to Neil Joiner and Brendon Warren-Smith who overcame the so often talked about heavy crew weight problems in Mk2 to triumph anyway.
