Since Chip Buck from Whirlwind quited the cat-scene, I had to look for another sailmaker. Surprisingly I found one next door in Holland. There is this guy Mark van Schaik from Performancesails who works very closely with Nacraeurope. Infact he is the one who sewes all the sails for Nacra worldwide.
This winter he was very occupied with the new sails for the two nacra boats submitted to the next Olympic games. (One of which is the brandnew developed special F17!).

Anyway Marc was willing to return for me to old fashioned dacron ( 6 oz.) and make for me this new powerhead mainsail.

In fact for me there goes nothing above an brandnew dacron sail. (Except for windsurfing where I'm used to non-dacron already for more then 20 years.

The footage is H.D. so full screen and sound advised.

P.S. You can see on the footage also a glimpse of the two lines from the frontbeam to the bowbar which are for the new system for climbing on board. I will report back to this in future.
