It was one of the " won't do that again " mistakes I made when building Bitsa, I moved the shrouds back about 100mm more than most A's of the time to try and reduce the loading from Spinny with the understanding that we seldom if ever have the boom right out. Works really well but that position is right where you want to sit upwind when hiking only as a single hander and it is just where the tiller bar and main sheet clash when going upwind out on the wire.

With two on board it would not be such a problem but as a single hander its a real pain. Presently rerigging the main sheet to give a foward sheet to use upwind ahead of the stay. Bit complicated but workible if I think about it.
