Is it just me or does it look like Hobie Cat has been slacking off?

They still make the Wave, which has a following.

They still make the 16, which is a bit of a cult classic.

They quit making the Tiger.

The Wildcat won a bunch of big races in '10.

They aren't making anything 20 feet or larger.

They have a bunch of what I call "resort boats." These include the Bravo and the Getaway. These are for people to play with at resorts, but hardcore speed freaks aren't into these.

Compare this with NACRA's offerings. They have the F16, F18 Infusion, N20, F20C etc. Don't know if they're still making the 5.5SL, 5.8, 6.0NA or the 18 Square.

It just looks to me like Hobie is slacking off and is content to let NACRA run the show.
