.....can the foil shape be carried right through to the deck so when you look down onto the deck you see the case opening as an aerofoil shape not a rectangle ....
Mine's a timber hull and deck and has the "look" your chasing..... rectangle opening on the deck whilst the other side is aerofoil shaped... the boards themselves are rectangular only for the depth of the hull.
Mine was epoxy filled for ~20mm at the bottom and then shaped to suit the board's curve..... they are a very firm fit and have minimal forward/aft movement.
