The new boat price has outpaced the used market. New boat buyers at that level are not going to be able to keep selling their two year old boats for 85% of what they paid for them. I'm not going to spend $18k for a boat that needs work....but that's just me.
And there the other side of the coin, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
