**** the pole up at about 30 to 40 degree angle (it stays there because you would have put a knot in the righting line that will slip through a loop attached to the ends of the main beam).
Now the pole is out and tilted upward. Reach out to the end of the pole and hang there -- the boat will come up.

No class restricts the righter that I know of.
