Sorry you have not had any luck with the answer to your question. I'd try these things:

1. Call FWYC, although they are only the "host" club and may not have much info to go on -but they could at least give you a contact name and number.
2. Visit Key Sailing and see what they know. While there get a Surf Burger from upstairs.
3. Find a number for Bert in Pensacola or Bob in Fort Walton.

It seems like some years, there is no race. Great race to check off on the bucket list, though. Good luck!
