so I took Jake's advice on my zig-zag gelcoat crack on the front of the rudder and sanded off the gelcoat so see what may be causing that.



From what I can see (hopefully the pictures help), the crack formed along the core of the rudder, which didn't appear to have any glass on this side?





So, I'm going to glass up this area with 2-3 layers of glass and slap some gelcoat over the area. We'll see if it holds...
