My first cat was a P18-, yes it was usually faster than the TheMightyHobie18's and they had boards!
But that lip was hell on your feet if you were trapping very long.
For years- I used one of those one piece over the neck Prindle trap harnesses- that unless you learned how to put a stopper knot in it and where in the line that fastened it- it would ruin your family plan!

I then got a P18-2! What an awesome boat!
As well as my next awesome boat- the N6.0NA! Retrofitted a spin to that one.
