How'd it go on the last two days in DE?

I left Newport Thursday night (a day later than planned), and the redress stuff had quieted down, but there were still plenty of protests. I watched more blatant fouls than I ever care to see again (squeezing up and wrapping yourself around the weather mark rather than ducking, gybing and losing to the starboard parade). Your penalty for that is supposed to be RET, not turns (or SCP in this regatta). Looks like Friday was much calmer for the jury...

Anyway, up in Marblehead now for the Hinman (US Team Racing Champs). Very light and flat (huge change from Newport). They're using brand new boats (the 24 here are the only ones on the planet), and they are able to sail in almost no wind. Team racing is just too cool, we really should try it on cats.
