Wow, what hyperbole! First, ILYA was formed in 1895 and the first regatta at Put-In-Bay started after that, not the mid 1800s, and it took time to grow. Also, Bay Week has been declining for decades and has not been even the largest fresh water regatta in OHIO, let alone the world, for years!

I find it somewhat strange that you have such a negative attitude about Put-In-Bay or Wave sailing in general after you started getting shellacked by newcomers to the fleet several years ago.
You are a great sailor and I consider you a friend….why don't you put aside your issues and join us instead of throwing balls of crap at what we have been working hard to accomplish?
Unifying Wave sailors is a BIG DEAL.
