I will answer both your posts with this one.
For the time being the paper trail is the one we want to use for voting. However, there are already a number of things already available and others in the making that we will experiment with and try to implement in the future. Still, one must keep in mind, not everyone is on the internet. A lot are, but not all.

As for Board Meetings, this Forum has a private Forum for the NAMSA Board and Committee Chairman and only those folks can get in. We have had that for over a year.
We also have the Open NAMSA Forum for the open membership.

I agree entirely that open discussions for every issue would be bogged down immediately.
We will discuss issues fully on the Board Forum and then throw them out for discussion, and then, if necessary, call for a vote.
