Hi Folks, Here is a series of pictures that cover the Janurary 2004 Race Around The Island Of Barbados. The pictures start at the beach rigging up, cover the start in the rain, and proceed around the island to the finish 5 hours and 88 miles later. This was an anything goes race with a mix of monohulls and multihulls up to 50ft. A staggered start was used with the fastest multihulls starting two hours after the first monohulls. An RC30 named Tiami Silver Bullet won the race and covered the last 17 miles in 38 minutes. The second boat crossed the finish line an hour after the Bullet. This boat is the first RC30 ever built and it still runs Hot! Bill
