The sad part is that it's harder to find the right conditions to ice boat in than it is to find the right conditions to sail in during the summer. There has to be no snow whatsoever, first of all, and obviously the lake has to be frozen. An often tough combination.

<br>Our club calendar sums it up. On one day, it says, "Ice boat season begins." On the very next day, it says, "Ice boat season ends."

<br>I think getting an ice boat would only further serve to frustrate my sailing withdrawl sindrome. An ill more easily cured by hopping on a plane to some place warm!
