There are so many trains of thought on the matter of beam in general, not just the beams themselves. Many have expressed the view that in their opinion, having beam in excess of 8’ is a waste, other, like myself wish there was no limit on beam at all. By outlawing glued in carbon beams you have taken away an option to one who wanted to make a 8’ wide platform with glued in carbon beams…If I understand the size restrictions that Greg was talking about, a 5 meter X 7'-8" wide with glued in carbon beams would fit into a standard shipping container…but by changing the F-16 rules we will eliminate this option.

The fewer and simpler the rules the better…I totally agree with Darryl’s comments on carbon fiber…
