The Boat Junkyard is a very real problem, at my club in Sydney we have two yards, together they could cram in about 40 boats. At present we have about 25 to 30 boats, only about half of these are used regularely, the rest are in various states of disrepair, some you wouldn't let your enemy sail off in.
<br>We charge about $250 aust.per annum, to store your boat, whilst this proves to be a good way to make money for the club, it is very hard to get this money off people if at all.

<br>Something I would like to do at our club, would be to offer users of this facility a large discount, if they sailed in more than half of the races organised by the club per season.
