Wow, it really sounds like you've done your homework, thats great. In general bigger wheels are better, they are a little easier on the bearings just like you think. One more thing that I would suggest, is start an insurance line on the boat right before you pick it up. Geicko, or West Marine will set you up pretty quick and painlessly.
