Greg, No, you can't use the MX jib with the self-tacking system. I am using the Tornado jib, which fits like it belongs on the boat. It just happens that the P19 is a "bit" longer when measured from the front of the mast to the bridle/forestay attachment. It is desirable to have the room for the jib to clear the mast. If you look at my "attachment" a few posts up this thread, you will see the Tornado jib. I will also attach a pic in this post.
