My Stiletto 27 is an overgrown beach cat albeit a heavy one. But, he did say "open cruising cat". With the 27 you can cruise in relative comfort, sleep inside if the weather is really bad. Carry as much supplies as you could possibly want (even a small Gen. and AC if you desire). You can even nudge it up to the beach if you want to.
