Jacques (from Hobie Cat) delivered two new Getaways to the studio. One as backup. Jacques stayed for the day to help rig and configure the boat for the scene. They loaded the boat into a big pool with a blue screen background. The boat was mounted on a cart on tracks to be pulled along by cable. He says there is another tank there with Jaws in it as well. One note... if the shot gets in there, the tank was too shallow for rudders. He had to remove the blades and tape the castings together. Look for the missing blades. Would be a cult thing to see that! Mark's shots were to be background (maybe on the blue screen?). Jacques said they also planned to take the Getaway down to the beach for some shots.
