also have pictures from her in our 2002 Delray Drag Race. The boat was owned by Mike Coffman of GulfPort sailing in Tampa. She took quite a ride in that race. Mike and his wife as most of us did abandoned the race on shore along Palm Beach in which we had adverse weather systems from the North create big air and seas. They were holding their own very impressively in the mixed fleet of I20's and N6.0's etc.as Micheal had this boat very fast. Satori was safely sailed down to Delray by myself and friend during the week after the event.Getting her out through some good size surf was intense because she was in between some of the many sewer outfall pipes on this section of Palm beach.I wondered if we good samaritans were going to finish her off then and there. But like her namesake (the other fishing search boat in "The Perfect Storm")She still sails now in of course, Miami. The last hazard was sailing through what appeared to be a broken container load of grapefruits that went on for hundreds of yards on the way to Delray.P.s I think her sister ship another N5.2 with red rudders is on Biscayne Bay also, this was my old 5.2 and I was pleased to get 3rd in class in the M2KL2002. So now you know why I know about SATORI .................Bob Grubb DSYC.
