Well, you have a couple options:

I'm sure you can dock it at OSYC. Your membership at LCYC is a reciprocal thing since LCYC is a GYA member club. The only problem with that, is that OSYC's kind of a rough place to dock a boat. You've seen how exposed the OSYC dock is. If you tie it WELL, and fender it WELL, and take chafe precautions, shouldn't be a problem. And we'll be around to check on your boat.

That said...
You can also dock it at Point Cadet (behind the Isle of Capri casino). They'll charge a fee, and I'm not sure how much that is. There are LOTS of liveaboards there, and it's protected, and they have transient dock space. I think the phone is Point Cadet Marina (228) 436-9312. Ask for the harbormaster, that may be the fuel dock phone.

Another free place would be in the bayou by our house. We don't actually have a dock, but there's a cut that is too shallow for powercraft right opposite the house and you could anchor there. We'd be right there to watch it, and we have a dink to get b/forth to your boat.

Come to think, you might could get in at the dockage at Harbor Pointe apartments (228) 875-8801 Call and ask if they have transient dock space.

I don't think that Ocean Springs small craft harbor has any space, transient or not. This next weekend when I see some people who are in there, I'll ask what's the deal.

To answer the other question... no, you can't tow the boat between OSYC and the public launch. And I'd damn sure not leave the boat in the launch parking lot cause it would be broke into for sure.

And Jay doesn't think Keifer's wheels will support your boat, or you could just leave it right on the beach. There is such a thing as wheels for big boats, though - I saw the RC27's wheeled about... ;-)
